Transitional Picks From Boohoo Plus

Transitional Picks From Boohoo Plus - Early Autumn plus size fashion pieces

I think it's safe to say that we can finally say bye bye to Summer. With the arrival of dark mornings, colder nights and soggier days, I've picked out my top transitional items from Boohoo Plus.

I think the key to dressing for this weird Summer/Autumn limbo is to keep things simple. I've recently realised the importance of simplicity in the wardrobe, meaning that just a few items can carry you through and help create a multitude of looks. To begin I picked items such as white shirts, and striped tees. These are pieces that can be easily dressed up or down, and mixed with rich or bold colours in any which way you feel. Personally, I love the added frills or oversized bell sleeves as I feel like they give the simplicity a little twist.

Denim is always a win for me, no matter what the season. But the real winner this transitional period has to be dungarees. I love them. Currently, I have two pairs in my wardrobe, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't living in them. Again, they can be worn casually, my favourite way to wear them, or dressed up with a beautiful set of heels and a fancy bag. This light wash pair from Boohoo would be a great first pick if you are dipping your feet into the world of dungas. They aren't tight fitting, and keep on trend with the distressing. If you choose comfort over style, (another thing I can be guilty of) you seriously can't go wrong with a pair of these.

My other picks are items I think you can expect from a transitional wardrobe. Big chunky knits are always a win, and simple non bulky jackets will keep you slightly warmer in the chillier weather. Midi skirts rather than mini will gives your legs that little bit of extra coverage, without having to reach for the tights. I don't know about you guys, but I'm just not ready for that yet.

If you would like to view or purchase any of the items in this post, head on over to The Lust List for a click through link. I'd love to know what item of clothing you reach for the most during this transitional period.
