She's Got Fire In Her Eyes

I'm bringing back the Monday make-up posts. I've lost my make-up spark as of late, and I'm hoping that getting back to sharing one make-up look weekly will push me out of my comfort zone again.

Scout's in nursery on a Monday morning, so you can expect a new post in this series (hopefully) on the regular from now on. I'm also on the hunt for some new brands to try out, so if you've come across any cruelty free brands recently, please let me know in the comment section below.

With this look, I wanted to focus on the eyes. I immediately picked out 'Flame Thrower' by Make Up Geek, a shadow I haven't used for quite a while, and went a little grungey. I've been loving a less polished eyebrow recently, so using a pencil helped to just darker and fill in any patches, without making them look too put together.

As for the rest of the face; I didn't fancy a full face of foundation, so I used the Kat Von D concealer in places I needed it and blended it out before applying bronzer, highlighter etc.
Products Used
 Kat Von D - Lock-it Concealer // Light 18
Kat Von D - Lock-it Concealer // Light 18
Sleek - Solstice Highlighting Palette // Ecliptic
Make-Up Geek - Eyeshadows // Mocha & Flame Thrower
Barry M - That's How I Roll Mascara
Gosh - Eyebrow Pencil // Grey Brown
The Balm - Balm Desert Bronzer
Model Co - Lipstick // Kitty

With these posts, I want to really show how the makeup looks on my skin. I know many bloggers/youtubers/makeup people in general like to tweak and perfect photos in post, but I sometimes feel like that can be a little realistic. So, my skin is not perfect, I may have eyelashes on my nose, and you may see a little bit of lip hair every now and again; but, please know that I will only ever fix the brightness/colour on a photo and nothing else. We're gonna keep it real over here.

  1. Your eyes look smoking hot! I need to get onto the Makeup Geek hype!
