The WFF Love Your Body Project - January Update.

I've really been looking forward to writing this post. January has been a weird old month, and I sure as hell didn't stick to my guns a lot of the time.
I think I have only lost one measly pound since beginning this project, but I have learnt a lot.

I've learnt that I don't need to eat massive portions to feel satisfied. I've learnt that I actually really enjoy salad, and I've learnt that I have a long, long way to go to reach my end goal of confidence.
I've had days where I have felt great. My clothes have fit nicely, my hair has looked good and I've had time to put a face of make-up on. On the flip side, I've also had some damned awful days and I've had a few moments where I've let myself break down and cry.

This month I have taken a couple of steps forward in this journey.
I finally chopped a few inches off of my hair; something I've been wanting to do for a long time. It now feels amazing and looks good even on the bad days.
I've also purchased some new sportswear, (take a peek in this haul video, here.) I haven't yet been able to wear much of it, exercise hasn't been something I've focussed on this past month. But, you know, that's ok. That's another step I'll work on this month.

I do want to share a little moment of confidence I had, and that came only yesterday. I realised tat I had a top on which I had worn a lot through my pregnancy. I then flicked through my instagram and found a bump shot and decided to take a comparison photo. It made me feel pretty darn good.

I'm really feeling inspired for the month of February. We've decided to ditch the weekly (sometimes twice weekly) take outs this month, and Liam has chosen to join me in ditching meat. We will be continuing to eat fish whenever we feel the desire to, but apart from that, veggies are our friends.
Throughout February I'm also going to try and get a bit more active. Dog walking is a big thing, and I've also finally got room to get back on my exercise bike.
Three times a week is what I'm aiming for, for anything other than walking the dog, but I'm not going to beat myself up about it if I don't keep to it this month.

So I'll leave this update here and will be back at the beginning of March with another. Hopefully next month I will have a slight weight loss to report with, and a little confidence boost would be great too.
